We stayed at The Crown because we were attending a wedding at Lynford Hall and this was nearby. After a long day on the ferry from Holland we got into Mundford at about 10 in the evening. Nothing was too much trouble, we were offered a meal but had already eaten on the boat. We had a drink in the bar and went up to our room. We had booked a family room which consisted of a bathroom with toilet, a separate toilet, a bedroom with double bed, a bedroom with doublebed and 2 single beds, 2 armchairs, t.v. and koffie/tea facilities. Everthing was very clean and tidy, clean towels every day and the beds made-up. We had to be back in Harwich at 8 on Monday morning for our trip back to Holland, which meant leaving at about 6. Breakfast was no problem, if we had wanted it then someone would have came in to make us a full english breakfast but we found this unneccessary and arranged instead to have some toast and cereals which we could make in the laundry room downstairs from our room. This was great, it meant we didn't have to hurry to get to the dining room and could eat in our room. We were really impressed with the service and friendliness and would recommend this lovely hotel to any one looking for a nice peacefull stay in this georgeous little Norfolk Village! Jane and all the staff, thanks for everything.
