We stayed here on the first stop of our honeymoon, and couldn't have asked for a better experience. We had a executive level room with an harbour/opera house view and it was really nice being able to wake up look out the window and see that. Also, on the executive level, you get access to the lounge which offers free wifi, and a really reasonable breakfast every morning. After going out once for breakfast, we realized that we did not need to.

Also, located just steps from Circular Quay, you could get everywhere you need with the buses, trains and ferries.

My dad and I spent five nights in Sydney on vacation. This hotel turned out to be superb base for us. Our room was clean and modern. While there was no bath tub the shower was exceptionally large. The beds were very comfortable with a good selection of pillows to choose from.

As I was a member of the Marriott reward program internet was free. This was a nice change from some other hotel chains that overcharge for internet access. Sign up for the loyalty program before you arrive and save yourself $15/day.

The best feature of the hotel is its location. We took the airport train into Circle Quay and the hotel is only a 5 minute walk away. Circle Quay is also the central stop for ferries to get around the harbour and plenty of busses. The opera house is about a 10 minute walk. You can purchase transit passes at the airport for the public transit system and ride the ferries all you want. This is a great way to get around and see the harbour.

We wound up eating breakfast several times at a restaurant in Circle Quay called City Extra. The `Canadian Breakfast ‘made us feel right at home even if we Canadians aren`t actually knocking back pancakes, eggs, and bacon every morning. Good food and about half the price of the hotel buffet breakfast.

Wonderful location if you plan on not renting a car. Less than 10 minute walk to Bridge and Opera House. About 5 minute to Circular Quay station. Took train from airport and walked from station to Marriott with no problem. Would stay here again for sure if I went back. Food though is very high here, but I stayed here for location. Not food!

What a fantastic experince!! The whole great experince started when we were met by a friendly concerierge who took our bags from the car and the team who looked after our car unteil we needed it on our last day. Check in was fuss free and the room was ready even though it was before 12pm. Our room had a spectacular view and the room was clean and tidy. The bed was comfortable and the room dark to allow a great nigths sleep. The location was fantastic and close to everything. We will be back!!
