Absolutely fantastic, nice and close to everything, Spa was great.. Cant wait till next time.. And the managers were really great..

the emerald was a nice stay me and my boyfreind enjoyed it for our celebration of anniversary, it was so close to cavil ave and all the places we wanted to go we did walk and it only took us less then 10 mins to get into surfers, the suites were realy nice and self contained, we had everything we needed to use e.g washing machine,dryer, kitchen needs, we will be back to stay soon,

Our family recently stayed at the Emerald Plaza & had a wonderful stay, the hosts Paul & Glenda were very friendly & helpful, the apartment was clean & well appointed with modern appliances.We did not have our own transport & the bus stop to major attractions was only a short walk from the Emerald. The Emerald is also a short walk to Cavell Avenue where there is an abundance of shops from Supermarket, Chemist, Convenience Stores ,Take away food, Restuarants, Liquor Stores & many other speciality stores. We are from the country & I was bit concerned about the noise but this did not prove to be an issue. The Emerald is located at the end of a no through road & there are only two apartments per floor, so noise was never a problem, in fact I was pleasantly surprised how quiet it was.
After our departure our daughter realised that she had left behind her MP3 player, this was quickly resolved with a phone call to Paul who promptly located it & said that he would forward it on. Paul & Glenda are great hosts & the Emerald has a lot to offer in terms of quality accomodation that does not cost an arm & a leg with an ideal location. I would certainly recommend this venue to families or couples as the place has so much to offer.

VERY dissapointed! Holes in the bedroom walls. Stains on the carpet and walls. The steps to the spa bath were broken and looked very dangerous. No toilet paper supplied and if you wanted some you have to pay $1-$2. List of extra charges if you did things 'wrong' or wanted more things. Will NEVER stay there again. Was so sad that I had to stay at such a filthy place on my birthday. If you want somewhere nice to stay that doesnt have holes in the walls or that is clean DO NOT stay here!
