Thought this was a pretty new place so was disappointed to find marks on the walls, stains on the furniture and quite worn carpet. Foxtel channels very limited - only about 6, 3 of which were sport, one news, one music, one kids. The clock radio was useless as it lost power every time you went out. Otherwise fairly standard for a Gold coast apartment with dishwasher, full sized fridge, oven, cooker, air con, pool, bbq. A bit noisy. A few blocks from central Surfers.

We are club members and so used points to stay at this resort. We arrived in the evening and were only staying the one night for an event on the Gold Coast. The staff we friendly, did the check-in quickly and did a quick tour of the first level that has the pool, gym, spa and BBQ facilities. (Note: Pool has sand in it, it was everywhere, maybe loose the sand.)

We headed up to the room (one bedroom), on our level (six) the carpet was already starting to show signs of wear and the door to the room was covered in marks, the door was also extreamly squeeky, so we were mindful of this when coming in late at night.

The room was clean and had everything needed, the veiw was nice and you could see the ocean and waves breaking on the beach (this was unexpected). The downside to the room, the bed was as hard as a rock and quickly became uncomfortable. Also the blockout curtains are useless, as soon as the sun came up the room was lit up...I like a dark room.

The reception is on level one, but to access the building when reception is closed you use the ground floor foyer. They have a sculptured seat in the foyer, however I wouldn't sit on it, it was so dirty, clean it or get rid of it, to me it would turn away prospective customers.

Overall, would come back and stay again.

We stayed in a very spacious two bedroom suite, great views, and suite was well equipped. Certainly recommend this to others with a family or the business traveller.

we stayed at the Wyndeham as part of a package deal (not a time share deal). The staff were fantastic, extremely pleasant and helpful. The room was great - we were on the 8th floor and had ocean glimpses. The room was reasonably new with nice furniture, comfortable bed and fully self contained. A nice buffet breakfast was included in the deal. The only downfall was the pool - which was pretty small for the size of the complex & compared to other resorts we have stayed in. Not a great pool for kids. The location is walking distance to Cavell Ave, restaurants, bus stop & the beach.
