I recommend this hostel if you are looking for a budget accommodation. They got shared rooms and also double room, which is where we stayed. It is clean, in a great location and the staff was lovely and helpful.

This was the second time I stayed at Hostel 109. I was greeted like an old friend and again I found the hostel first class. Hostel 109 is in walking distance of CBD.
Right across the street there is a first rate pub for food and drink. The staff are friendly and helpful. The organization of the kitchen area is awesome.
The rooms do not have outside windows but open up to light shafts. Not suitable for anyone who is claustrophobic, the rooms have the advantage of beeing spared outside noise and excess heat.
Free interent is available and really great for anyone who does not travel with a laptop computer. The guests are a good mix of ages and interests.
I certainly plan to come back.

Great, friendly, informative and supportive hosts. Family-like atmosphere. very good facilities. Very clean and comfort. Very good location in Adelaide CBD. Full equipped kitchen with plenty of Refrigerators. good internet access except for some connectivity difficulties that occur from time to time.

We booked a double room. The room contains a king sized bed, tv, table, clothes cabinets with many hangers and a fridge.

The good: Location, reasonable pricing, comfortable big bed, free wifi, free use of computer and able to print stuff (for a very small fee), Playstation (i didn't use them), free coffee and milk, well equipped kitchen, clean toilet and shower rooms.

The bad: Thin walls (we can hear guests talking from the other rooms and tv noises so somehow affected our quality of sleep at night), took me quite some time to adjust the tap to get a suitable temperature to shower.
