“Great hotel, great location”

A friend and i just got back from staying at this hotel for one night while we went into the city for a concert. It was in a perfect location, with Rundle Mall a short walk away as well as a tram stop for the free tram to the Entertainment Centre located just behind the hotel.
The rooms were clean, nice bathrooms and comfy beds.
Excellent restaurant 'Spice Market' down stairs.

“Very noisy and fairly ordinary service”

Rooms are well appointed, although obviously a cheap renovation as sliding doors coming detached from wall etc. A lot of noise from the busy 'red light' district; we even changed rooms after the first night. Seems stupid that they would put the suites at the front which is the noisiest. Restaurant food was great but service has room for improvement.
