I have to declare that I am a member of the RACV CIty Club so there is some bias here. However, having stayed in numerous establishments in the CBD we tend to opt to stay at The Club. We cannot beat it for location, value for money, service and range of facilities.

Outstanding gym & pool facility, kiddies pool as well. Fabulous breakfast buffet, spacious comfortable room with large well appointed bathroom:( shower & bathtub). Enjoyed the central location of hotel to Melbourne's attractions.* Helpful staff, friendly & tolerant of small children. Well worth staying especially for business. Front desk deserves special mention. ( *we travelled around city by car for few days but also used busses & trams, all easily accessible from hotel)

If you need to stay in Melbourne for business you cant go wrong with the RACV. Its very central to Melbourne CBD. The service is excellent. Rooms are large and comfortable. Very good restaurant available. Check if your automobile club membership will allow you in ( eg. AA).

CBD event at the Club, so stayed overnight. Huge suite, almost needed a map tofind the exit. Very comfortable. Club members and guests only.
