Highly recommend this hotel, friendly staff nothing a problem. Room upgraded at no extra cost. Buffet Breakfast have something for everyone. Can't wait to return.

This hotel was once the place to stay but needs a full refurb..slipping from 4 star to 3 star...good location, good staff, but needs serious money spent on it

I had a nice large room with absolute no view except the office tower next door. Despite that, the room was clean, quiet and comfortable. Housekeeping and some front desk personnel were also friendly and helpful. But considering the price and age of this building, it was just an adequate property...nothing fancy or notable. Still, the location is convenient and the food was good.

Situated at the top end of St Georges Tce this hotel is meant for the nearby wheelers and dealers of the business world. It is not a place for those looking for a relaxing holiday escape.

The place seems to shut down for the weekend with the Irish bar (and TAB) not even opening at all over the weekend and the other restaurant and bar not opening the door until 4pm.

I only ended up here using a wotif mystery hotel booking ($145) and while the rooms were clean and comfortable there is no way I would be happy if I was paying the rack rate.

How the heck do hotels that charge such high prices get away with not offering free breakfast, free wifi and free parking like 90% of hotels of similar quality in Asia?
