Although this is expensive for a motel and it doesn't have a restuarant, the rooms have more than you'd get in a hotel (everything you could want) and it's quite close to the city. The rooms are clean and tidy.

I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights for work in the area. I found the room to be very clean, a reasonable rate, and great service from the owners. The room had sound proofed windows, new curtains and I was told that there were more updates that were going to happen. The bed was very comfortable, and having a microwave and toaster was a nice convenience. I would happily stay here again.
We had rear upstairs queen room. Refurbishment is in progress, with some to go. Our room was in need of repainting and new curtains, etc but much better than our previous visit. New AC had been installed. Linen was clean and fresh. Shower was over a spa bath. We'd have preferred a walk-in shower, and did not use the spa. Carpark was quite full on Saturday night, but adequate all other nights. Only negative was the neighbour's television hung on the wall behind our bed-head, so their TV noise came through. We were disturbed in late evening by noisy people in the carpark area calling our, diesel motors running, etc and this happened last time too. Suggestion to managers is to keep an ear open to noise from inconsiderate guests.
My family and I went to Perth last July to attend my cousin's wedding and we stayed at the Kings Park Motel for about a week. I am very picky when it comes to accommodation, but my stay at the motel was very satisfying. Super clean room (and bathroom) and super friendly staff. Microwave, refrigerator, television, heater and hairdryer (this one worked perfectly for me) are provided in every room. I would love to stay there again!
We had an incredibly warm reception from Lynne when we arrived and she made us feel very welcome. Throughout our stay the staff we encountered were friendly and polite and Lynne (the manageress), who we saw most often, could not have been more helpful and provided us with a wealth of information on the local amenities and transport services.
The room was clean and nice with a small but well stocked kitchen with some chilled water waiting in the fridge which was a nice touch. Good air conditioning unit which wasn't too loud and, even though we had a room at the front of the building, we didn't notice any road noise. Good shower too.
The location was fantastic for us with the beautiful Kings Park literally across the road and the charming suburb of Subiaco about a 10 minute walk away. We went to Subiaco most evenings and found a good choice of places to eat and drink. There is also a train station about a 15 minute walk away which we used to get to Freemantle for the day.
The best part of our visit to the Kings Park Motel was the welcome we received from Lynne and Bruce, closely followed by the location.
