Stayed at the Comfort Hotel Perth City for 6 nights, had a great time, very clean rooms, which are cleaned daily and coffee and tea facilities in the room, excellent customer service.

I have stayed at the Parmelia Hilton before but this hotel is much better overall with all the added benefits including much better price

I was concerned about the location of the hotel, however, it is very close to the "Red Cat" 1 of 3 free loop bus services that runs til 7pm daily 7days per week, also close to the Perth mint with is $15- entry but worth the visit. Also $15- 1-way for shuttle to airport or hotel.

the hotel has many great facilities including a restaurant/cafe/bar, pc+printer in lobby, nice relaxing lobby area.

it also has the following included in the price (free, at no extra charge) items
Movies
Parking
Breakfast (if you get a special deal)
Late checkout til 11am (if requested, not sure if always available)
Baggage holding area
Newspapers in lobby area
Tea and coffee facilities in the room
AC works well :)

Internet is not free but i used the internet on my cell, so was all good

Join up with comfort rewards program to get points, on their site it says free internet where available but they didnt give me free internet when i asked at the hotel, no big deal...unsure what other benefits they have are...

We stayed here for 2 nights and found the room to be adequate but nothing special.
It looked a little dated - the bathroom could of done with a really good clean although really should be ripped out and replaced.
The bed was comfy enough and we slept ok and didn't hear much noise from the street.
The location was ok it was a 10 min walk into the city but if we ever go back to Perth then I think we would stay somewhere else.

The Comfort Hotel is situated about a 15 minute stroll from the city centre.  The Swan river is a few minutes walk away. The road outside (Hay St) is not very busy. Our room on the 5th floor faced up Hay St towards the city centre.

The room size was adequate for a few days but lacks storage space for a longer stay if you do not want to live out of a suitcase. The furniture and soft furnishings are fairly modern and the room was clean. The ensuite had a shower (no bath), toilet and a small, cloakroom-size basin. Everything worked properly.

The rooms do not have safes but there are complimentary safety deposit boxes available via Reception. My wife and I were travelling before returning to Perth and the hotel was happy to store our excess luggage until we returned.

The hotel has a guest laundry on the 5th floor which was good.

The staff were friendly, courteous and helpful.

The cafe next door, with an entrance from the hotel lobby, is good and is well used by hotel guests as well as outsiders. Other options in the immediate area are limited although there is a good Italian restaurant (Cafe Italia) on the other side of the road about 100 yards beyond the traffic lights. Get there early as it is very popular. If you want, take your own wine and pay $5 corkage. A wine store is opposite the restaurant.

On arrival at hotel we had been upgraded to a Suite. Room was clean and good size positioned in a quiet street. Good facilites in room and staff were very friendly and helpful.
Restaurant attached to hotel - excellent meals at reasonable prices.
Free tourist bus stop just outside hotel.
Would definately recommend this hotel for a stay in Perth City.
