Finally, a decent reasonably priced hotel in Perth. I travel to Perth 2-3 times a years. Hotels tend to be either extortionately expensive or cheap and nasty. This hotel bridges the gap. On arrival I was greeted in a professional, courteous and efficient manner - I even got an upgrade, which of course always helps. Very pleasantly surprised with the size of the room - it had nearly ever I need, good bed, good pillows, lounge which isn't sagging or sinking, TV that works and a good area to set up laptop and work from. Also the room was dark and quiet. I said it had nearly everything I need - I should have said 'want.' The only thing missing is a bath - the shower is good, but I like a soak when staying away from home. Really impressed with the cleanliness - it was spotless.
Breakfast at the restaurant was very good, although I did have to chase it up - told there was a new chef.
Also some very good restaurants nearby - try Cafe Italia - 1 minute up Hay Street towards the city - excellent Italian. Also close to some cheap but good Asian cafe's for lunch/early dinner
All in all very good and definitely worth another visit.
