i stayed at the Pullman with my niece on the weekend and throughly enjoyed it. the staff were friendly and very helpful. the room was clean, with a view out to the harbour, reasonable sound-proofing and had very comfortable beds. we went swimming in the 25m pool each day and because it was nice weather they had the side wall of the pool open and the pool roof open which made it much more pleasant than your average indoor pool. the buffet breakfast was good, i especially liked the array of fresh fruit available. my only complaint about breakfast was that the coffee was terrible and in hindsight i should have ordered a coffee from the bar to go with breakfast instead. the location is good, an easy walk to the ferries or queen st and the hotel is right next door to albert park and the new art gallery. free wi-i in the bedrooms was a real bonus and very helpful.
We stayed at the Pullman for a weekend away and to visit the Lantern Festival at Albert Park. The only hickup to the whole weekend was after we checked in our door card did not work, but a staff menber had it sorted very quickly.
Our room had a king bed and was very comfortable, The room looked towards Albert park and was perfect for viewing the firework display. The bathroom was very clean with a bath and shower over. Good quality soaps etc. Complementary wireless internet was very useful and its good to see, all hotels should have free internet these days.
Breakfast was up to standard with all eggs cooked to order, good range of fruits, breads etc.
The gym was well equiped, the pool was a good size but a bit on the cool side. Steam room, Sauna and spa, all very good.
The location was perfect for us and in easy walking distance to Queen Street and Britomart. We used the valet parking and it was very quick and trouble free. We hope to stay here again.
