Hotel in good location, nice helpful staff however room and particularly bathrooms very tired and dated - in need of urgent refurbishment.

Close location to ferry terminal but room was dated and really quite expensive for what it was. Breakfast was ok and no issues with valet parking. Staff were pleasant enough but I felt we were just a number. Would stay at an airport hotel next time at a third of the price. Sudima hotel was good value. No tourist information at stamford and staff had no info on the major highway closure.

This is clearly a 5 star hotel in a great location, close to the wharf in Auckland Center. The front desk staff was outstandingly helpful. The room was great and had one of my favorites, a button to push for "Do Not disturb" rather than a hang tag. There is complimentary internet in the business center and if you are going to the airport have the front desk arrange a "discount: cab" for you which will cost you 1/2 price of an ordinary taxi. Would stay here again in a heart beat if I revisit the area.

We had the pleasure of staying at the Stamford Plaza for two nights and were upgraded to as suite for minial extra cost. All the staff very friendly and courteous. Room was just perfect and the bar service, breakfast restaurant and in room dining were all faultess. The location is just perfect for going anywhere. Well receommended.
