Immaculate accommodations within easy walking distance of Hagley Park and downtown Christchurch. Very friendly and knowledgeable hosts. Comforts of home all available, including bike rental, grassy yard with swingset, trampoline, and convenient shopping district right down the street. Quiet residential location provides excellent respite and launching pad while exploring Christchurch.

Very enjoyable stay in a cosy, ultra quiet motel with excellent host, Frances, who directed us to restaurants (which were good and had reasonable prices) and helped with all our enquires.

Great location - 10 mins drive from the airport, 5 mins walk from lovely Hagley Park, 5 mins easy walk from a huge Westfield centre where you can buy anything and 10 mins walk from a huge centre with all the outdoor gear stores you could want.

50 MB free wifi and you can pay for more. Shared washing machine and dryer (pay $2 per load) and a clothes line to use out the back.

Large rooms, comfortable beds, shampoo, hairdryer, nice towels, tea, coffee and hot chocolate and biscuits all included. Kitchen with all the necessary utensils.

It is a tiny bit dated and the sheets aren't pure cotton. The shower head is one that seems to be fairly typical in NZ - it has a constant pressure and you adjust the temperature. For those who like a warm but gentle shower this is not great but it was hot, which is the main thing! The heater makes a bit of noise but it is a great place to stay at a great price and we would return again.

We have just returned from a delightful stay at this Motel. I would highly recommend it to anyone. Friendly hospitality, clean, quiet rooms and a great location.

Frances (the host) was really friendly and made us feel very comfortable.

The motel is in a residential area so it's really quiet, but it's just off a main road so accessibility is no problem.

The unit was spacious and clean, with very decent appliances and other bits and bobs. 2 parking spaces per unit are a big plus.

We would definitely come back. Highly recommended.
