Wonderful room. Superb, comfortable bed and spa bath. Very modern. Good location for all amenities and attractions. Friendly, helpful staff. Highly recommended.

We arrived late afternoon after checking into our pre booked accommadion that was not up to standard so stopped at the first avaliable Vacancy sign.
Friendly greeting for two weary ladies that had been shopping since arriving from Blenheim that morning.
Unit was certainly double what we wanted to pay but was well worth every cent.
The two bedroom unit was absolute luxury from the beds to the linen to the kitchen and the carpet.
Only sorry we did'nt stay longer. Proprietor walked out in the morning after checking out and opened the car door wishing us safe travels. It doesnt take much but it makes a huge difference.

Only Hotel I would stay in Christchurch, absolutely beautiful clean rooms, in walking distance to Restaurants, fabulous hosts, quiet rooms, and so clean and fresh, so lovely to stay at the Salerno, the staff are friendly and nothing is too hard, big spa baths for cold nights, great great place to stay, plenty of hotel free parking, I would not stay anywhere else in Christchurch, thank you for making my stay so easy, Andrea Lance :)

We stayed at the Salerno Motel for 4 days in mid October 2011. Great location close to the city center. The room was clean and had everything you needed including a microwave and cookware. The price was within our budget and the staff were very helpful and accomodating. They even helped us booking "The Lord of the Rings Tour"...which was fabuous.
