Quest Williamstown North

My husband I have stayed here 3 times; the last was June 2006 for a week. On that occasion although we had booked a 1 bedroom apartment as repeat clients we were upgraded to a 2 bedroom apartment. We hardly needed that, but it does give you a second bathroom with a bath. In addition, when we checked out the receptionist told us not to book (I wont waste time naming the cheap site.com) as they would match any deal next time.

All the apartments are non-smoking. The kitchen is fully equipped with a large fridge & dishwasher. The 1st time we stayed, we got a breakfast pack special included each day with cereal, piece of fruit,juice,bread & sundries in little packs. Not the next times- but shopping complex with supermarket is short drive or 15 minute walk away.

It was comfortably furnished, heating worked-we have only been there during winter. There is a pool, but haven’t used that. Melbourne is cold in the winter.

All furniture including beds comfortable & in good order and apartment serviced every day. They have the usual signs about saving the environment with towels. There is a full laundry with washing machine & sep dryer so can save the towels, & most importantly do your washing if on extended trip.

It is close to a walkway, which is just surrounded by waterbirds, especially pelicans- a great start to the day.

About a 40 minute drive from Avalon airport, Willie North is perfect for us as our family live close by. Might not be so handy for those needing to get to the City.
We tried not hiring a car the 1st time there, but found it a nuisance to rely on public transport. Taxi never arrived on 1 occasion.

With ample parking, & all amenities in a nice surrounding I won’t be wasting time shopping around on my next visit to Melbourne. Quest-here I come!
