We booked this hotel through booking.com after reading the reviews on Tripadvisor. We can assure readers that this hotel is excellent. We were met by Alana on the first day, she was very helpful and provided maps and information that we needed. Lida was the helpful young lady in the Fine Cafe who organised a fantastic breakfast and was still there serving us drinks at night on our return to the hotel after a long day walking around Prague. The room is a small apartmen with a small kitchen and a balcony which led out onto a decking area. The apartment was spotless, I honestly couldn't fault it. Jana was the receptionist who helped us order a taxi and told us of the Vysehrad Castle, her English was great and she went out of her way to help us. The hotel is a short walk from the metro. To get to town, get off at the museum stop two stops on the C line, buy a 48hr pass and this gives access to all public transport. If you like walking, head for Vysehrad castle, directly opposite the hotel. Stroll through the historic landmarks and visit the Basilica of St Peter and St Paul, you have to visit the cemetery on the way through. This is the final resting place of the famous Czech artisans.
There's so much going on in Prague, I can't justify it on this site. I would however recommend the Rezidence Vysehrad to anyone going to Prague. We are going back to Prague and our first choice would be this hotel, it was fantastic.
Happy holidays
