Unit and grounds are beautiful. There were six adults in our 2 bedroom unit and everyone was very comfortable. Housekeeping and maint. Were very helpful and very friendly. Lobby personnel very pleasant and helpful. Very luxurious accommodations, very clean and well furnished. We loved every minute of our stay. The view from our Lanai was spectacular.

Lagoon's is one of the most beautiful properties I've ever been to. The views from the well-appointed suites are spectacular. All the other reviews sum it up very well. Pam at the front desk is just terrific and will do everything she can to make your visit enjoyable. Be sure and take a bike ride or two! The route on the outskirts of the property isn't perfectly marked but you can figure it out and it's a fun little adventure.

The one comment I would make is that this probably isn't the best place for children and young families. It's really a quiet place without the built-in entertainment you find at other Marriott properties. There are two other more family friendly Marriotts on the island that are really more appropriate for kids.

I loved it here, very quiet, tranquil, and remote. A place to relax and unwind, not a lot of entertainment, food, or activities just a pool, hot tub, golf, and the ocean. We have stayed at the Kauai Lihue Marriott down the road and I like the lagoons much better.

Room tip: ask to be near the ocean, we were in the very last unit and it was quiet

Part of our wedding party stayed in the beautiful upscale 2 and 3 bedroom units. Each large bedroom has a king bed and a full bath. The kitchen/living area opens to a giant lanai that becomes part of the living area because the glass doors completely fold out to open up the living room and lanai as one! We had a party for over 40 guests and there was plenty of room for everyone. The views are fantastic, overlooking the pool, the golf course, and the ocean. There's a nice little market on-site, pretty pricey but convenient, with free Starbucks coffee every morning! The staff was fantastic…cordial, attentive and accomodating. Couldn't have been better, wish I owned one.

Room tip: If you don't mind the activity noise, choose the pool view, with lush foliage. You can get a full on ocean front but be prepared to pay more.

I love the personnel. They are the nicest people on property. They never tire of answering any question and are always filled with aloha. EVERYTHING makes for a lovely vacation--the view, the pool, the golf course, the ocean, the fauna.

BUT WATCH OUT when you are sitting on the lanais. They are lovely and extend your square footage greatly, but VOICES CARRY.

Mainlanders not accustom to the time change will wake up early, go out onto the lanai and talk in LOUD voices, not realizing that they are very close to neighbors and should lower their voices--in person or on the phone. Children should be kept quiet, too. Numerous times we were awakened by new vacationers on their lanais chatting up a storm or children screaming. And NO, it's NOT cute that your toddler pushes furniture on the lanai, which carries an awful scraping sound.

All Marriott properties are always like home--the staff is lovely, food, rooms. One other thing I wish they'd tell people at check-in is that it's a NON-SMOKING property. Mahalo.

Room tip: Ask for top floor away from families.
