I love the personnel. They are the nicest people on property. They never tire of answering any question and are always filled with aloha. EVERYTHING makes for a lovely vacation--the view, the pool, the golf course, the ocean, the fauna.
BUT WATCH OUT when you are sitting on the lanais. They are lovely and extend your square footage greatly, but VOICES CARRY.
Mainlanders not accustom to the time change will wake up early, go out onto the lanai and talk in LOUD voices, not realizing that they are very close to neighbors and should lower their voices--in person or on the phone. Children should be kept quiet, too. Numerous times we were awakened by new vacationers on their lanais chatting up a storm or children screaming. And NO, it's NOT cute that your toddler pushes furniture on the lanai, which carries an awful scraping sound.
All Marriott properties are always like home--the staff is lovely, food, rooms. One other thing I wish they'd tell people at check-in is that it's a NON-SMOKING property. Mahalo.
