If you visit Bangkok, you have to stay at Intercontinental Bangkok. The staff are very friendly and attentive and they never take you for granted. Being a regular guest there for many years, they already have my requirement in their profile. I need not have to tell them what I need or what type of room I prefer. they always get it right for me.

Please do not miss the gymn as it is spacious and well equipped. The trainers there are very helpful and friendly. Best of all, it is open 24 hours. This is also part of the reason I choose to stay in this hotel.

High level of service and perfect response to requests makes this hotel an excellent value. Location helps a lot..... Concierge suggestions on outside food and shops was great! Got the ideal support during the stay.

The Intercon Bangkok meets all the expected standards of the IC brand, the staff are attentive and helpful. There is easy access to the Skytrain which is clean and very safe for travelling around Bangkok plus there are several malls nearby if shopping is your scene. Probably more of a business hotel but I think it offers something for all travellers. The hotel is outside of the red light area of Soi Cowboy and Nana which means you don’t have to navigate past a hoard of night girls to get to the hotel which is nice for families. However, if you do intend to visit these areas for a quick look they are just a couple of stops away on the Sky train.

Be aware the pool area is nice but very small, there’s probably only room for 10 or so people to sunbathe however the gym is very good with excellent equipment.

I booked a room with a kingsize bed, but when i came in the room there where two bed insteat of the kingsize bed. So i called the reception and they told me oh we sorry but we don´t have kingsize room anymore but if you book a next time we will give you the orded room. This is already the secound time a intercontinental hotel doing things like this. I will never book Intercontinental again, they not take the guest serious. There are alot of hotels doing things very good for their guests so ................
