We recently spent 5 nites at Adelphi. After visiting Phuket, Phi Phi and Chian Mai, we intended on taking in the sites (and shopping) of Bangkok before heading home. The Adelphi was great. So close to Nana Sky Station to get anywhere. Plenty of great shopping centers close by. Walking distance to Soi Cowboy if your interested. Great restaurants.... We stayed in a studio room - clean, modern, comfortable bed, air-con worked well, no washing machine in these rooms, but laundry services outside the hotel were cheap.. And it is quiet... Would I recommend the Adelphi to friends & family? Yes.. I think the only dampener for us was Bangkok in general. There is always someone taking advantage and/or ripping you off -always with a smile.... We'll go back to Thailand, but will give Bangkok a miss......

We had a very pleasant suite, not facing onto Soi 8. Quiet. Staff professional and very helpful.
The rooms were well equipped and brochure description was accurate. Wifi very good. Small gym and pool - nice to use and well kept.

Very good choice if you do not want super luxury, in excellent Sukumvit location.

Central location on Sukhumvit. The skytrain station is nearby. Lots of cafés in the vicinity. very good shopping in Central World shopping mall about 15-20 minutes walk from the hotel
A small kitchenette and washing machine are very useful especially if Bangkok is your last stopover before going home.
The rooms are clean but furniture is a little bit cheap and begins to wear out. Breakfast is good.

We stayed in the Adelphi Suites for one week while our friends were getting dental work nearby. The hotel is clean, comfortable and modern, and the room was spacious.
We had a corner room with views out towards the east and south. We booked directly with the hotel and had a nicer view than our friends who booked with an internet booking site...may have been a co-incidence but the hotel has signs up encouraging patrons to book direct with them. The room was a twin and the beds were generous and not overly hard for Westerners.
The kitchen in the room was great for a week long stay, and it was nice to have a full-size fridge instead of a mini one.
Plenty of hot water in the shower at any time.
The free wi-fi in room and lobby was good with no connection delay or problems.
The hotel is only a couple of minutes walk to the Skytrain station (Nana) which was great and made a huge difference to our holiday. Bangkok is so easy to navigate via BTS and this meant we could come and go to various different things in one day easily.
Our teen to 20's kids used the rooftop pool quite a bit, especially in the morning and evenings, as it is shaded during the afternoon. The view from here is wonderful. The pool setting is clean and modern.
The desk staff were great. We visited over the King's birthday and so many attractions were closed but the desk staff went out of their way to keep us informed and as a result we spent a wonderful evening visiting the Imperial Palace when it was specially opened in honour of the occasion at night...it seemed we were the only foreign tourists to know of it thanks to the desk staff.
The hotel's open-air restaurant and bar is located directly on the street and open all day and late at night and is comfortable spot for 'people-watching'. The food is fine and seems competitively priced for the area. Staff here were very helpful and friendly also.
Breakfast included a couple of different local dishes each day, but was basically the standard hotel fare.
We will use this hotel again when we are in Thailand next.
