My husband and I recently stayed at the Legacy Suites for 8 days. Couple of things: When searching for a hotel, there were so many to choose from. I chose the "Sukhumvit" area. Perfect! It is the "it" area of Bangkok. Pretty upscale area. 5min walk to skytrain and subway. We tried taxis a few times, but Bangkok traffic is a nightmare and took us 10x as long as skytrain(approx. .75 each ride) The skytrain near Legacy is 1-3 stops from Emporium Mall(high end) to MBK(bargain hunter mall). The property is very modern and well maintained. No complaints whatsoever. Our room was very spacious and included a wash/dryer,refrig etc... Felt very safe. We actually left out our valuables and nothing ever came up missing. Breakfast was included and offered ome/eggs to order,bacon, assted pastries/breads,juices,cereals, yogurts, fresh fruits. Everything you need to start your day. The breakfast also offered asian breakfast options which we did not try. Staff also very helpful and spoke English well. You will appreciate that when you venture beyond the hotel. We also played tennis on the rooftop. Court has Astroturf and offers racquets/balls for your use. However, don't expect top of the line equipment. The property is worth far more than we paid. Enjoy!

My wife & I stayed in the Legacy Suites for four nights in the month of November 2011. That was the same time when Thailand and some of Bangkok were affected by the floods.

The staff at the Legacy Suites is extremely courteous and attentive. Our 'good' experience with them started even before we arrived - when we were talking to them prior to leaving from India. We had to reschedule some elements of our trip, including a couple of day's stay with Legacy and they were right on the money with their helpfulness and flexibility to accommodate us.

I do believe that our check-ins could have been handled a tad faster, but otherwise, everything was good when we arrived. The Japanese restaurant was under renovation so breakfast was served in the smaller lounge / bar resto. The fare was very vegetarian friendly and the croissants were simply delicious. I am sure I put on some extra weight during my stay here.

The bellboys & concierge are helpful with supplying you maps, taxis, information et al to get around the city. Their inhouse travel arrangements are more expensive than what you find outside, so we didn't go for it. The hotel is reasonably close to the BTS stations (about a 10 min walk) so that worked well. Even though the hotel is pretty much in the middle of the Sukhumvit area, it's about 100 metres inside the Soi so you don't get any noise from the BTS / traffic. Very very convenient to walk around within Sukhumvit.

The room was very clean and well laid out. We stayed on the 6th floor with a view of the pool, which was good. The spaciousness of the room also helps.

Overall, we had a great stay and Legacy Suites is definitely going to be my choice of hotel the next time I visit Bangkok.

I chose this place based on other tripadvisor reviews and we weren't disappointed. Although only staying for two nights, we were upgraded for free on checking in and had a beautiful, large, spacious, modern, clean room with a very large bathroom and really good strong shower! We only used the kettle but noticed that the kitchenette was pretty well stocked if you had wanted to prepare your own food. The bath robes and slippers provided were a nice touch too.
The only downside for us was the choice of eating places in the area around the hotel. we were keen to have authentic thai food but kept finding western places (irish and british pubs), mexican, indian, japanese.... all of these seemed quite pricey too. We eventually found a Thai restaurant on a back road about ten mins walk from the hotel - the food was okay but again, not good value for money. If staying for longer, we would have used the sky train to go to other areas for eating. if you are not fussed about eating authentic thai food and getting good value, then you certainly have a lot of choices within walking distance.

Undoubtedly it is one of the best hotels in Bangkok.
I stayed there for 5 nights in deluxe studio and had a lovely time.... The staff is nice ,smart, always smiling and willing to help. I reached there at 5 am in the morning and they provided me with a room to fresh up and then later i was provided with early checkin at 9AM ( standard 2 PM).

The room is huge with all facilities and like a home away from home....comfy beds...fully equipped kitchen,,,,huge bathroom.......

The breakfast was fine.....
The location of the hotel is perfect in a quite Soi but near to everything.......BTS,MRT....shopping etc.

I recommend this hotel to everyone...dunno how anyone can rate this hotel below 5 star.
