This was such a nice surprise to find this tranquil luxury hotel in Chiang Mai. The layout of the hotel is beautiful with minimalist design which is especially beautiful at night with the way they light it. We flew in early and the hotel accommodated us by letting us check in early. The rooms are small but nice and have great lighting from the windows. The shower is the best I wish I could instll the same rainshower head in my home. The negatives is that the doors opening from other rooms seem to be really loud and you can hear them throughout the night. The pool is beautiful and enjoyable to swim laps in. The gym is also nice you might have to have the hotel employees point you to where its at. The spa was outstanding the spa rooms include private bathroom and showers. Try the four hand massage! One of the best parts of this hotel is the location. It is walking distance to the night bizzare, plenty of great resturants and places where you can get a massage for 6$ an hour.

**Tip: They have this extremely strong air freshner they seem to love. Its located on the top right side of the desk in a compartment that you can unplug.

the problem with staying at the chedi is that it spoilt us so much that others hotels dont compare, loved it would stay again any time , calming relaxing place to stay , loved the breakfast area out side by the river ping really enjoyed the selection of food in the mornings ,

Absolutely amazed by this hiotel. Visited in January with husband and 2 friends and we all rated it our favourite hotel during our trip through Thailand.
Beautifully peaceful with lovely attention to detail in rooms (especially if you have a room with a terrace).
Excellent breakfasts, cooked to order (nice touch) and relaxing riverside setting which enhanced the dining experience. It's also very near the night market and many local restaurants and bars so you dont have to eat / drink in the hotel if you wish to step outside into Chiang Mai for a stroll. What can I say. We loved it. 10 out of 10
