My wife and I stayed for a week in this beautiful resort. First off I have to say I hesitated at first to give a 5 rating to this hotel but chose to after all simply because I knew the negatives off hand. As far as the villa goes its above and beyond spacious and comfortable. The plunge pool is more of a lap pool great for lounging or getting a nice workout. The restaurants are fantastic. Yes expensive but they do not sacrifice anything as far as quality and options. I do feel the staff could do a better job of letting you know what options and offers are available. For example we did not know there is a happy hour by the concierge until the last night when I went to print my boarding pass. The bartender felt bad I had no idea of the happy hour and gave me the happy hour price even though I had just missed it by a few minutes. Something else we could have missed but were fortunate not to was the cooking class offered. I highly recommend it even if you don't cook very much. It was great fun and just hands on enough for my taste. The food came out great and we received aprons, a certificate and a nice tour of the garden where many of the herbs come from. We also arranged a boat tour and were picked up and dropped off at the floating pier. Much better then driving or getting shuttled to the opposite side of the island. Last but not least I have to say the breakfast was fantastic every morning. The congi, dim sum, fresh fruit and food library was great but don't skip the egg station. The eggspert at that station takes his job VERY serious and it shows in the quality of the end result.
