We arrived in hanoi at 10 pm at night to be greeted by the amazing staff at the hanoi elegance ruby! We were greeted with towels and smoothies before being upgraded to a suite. Breakfast was great, and the staff went the extra mile to make sure everything during our stay was amazing. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone and everyone - the bad thing was that no other hotel in Vietnam was able to live up to this! Great! 4 star hotel with 5++ star service!

overall - fantastic. Clean, comfortable, in the middle of everything, service is top notch. A nice touch - you get a free laptop with a free wifi connection. I especially loved their rain shower, it was better than home

What a sensation. Small boutique hotel that brings a new meaning to the words elegance and boutique. This is a rare find. The most wonderful staff on earth. Friendly smiles and genuine real service from beginning to end. Tours organised by the hotel reservations over the internet with clockwork precision to Ha Long Bay and Sapa region. Pick ups/drop offs to airport/train with a staff member each end. Bags kept while we went to the outlying locations.Quality of hotel as to fit out cleanliness 100%plus.
What more can we say- go there, let the hotel organise you and enjoy.

We had high expectations of the HER having read trip advisor thoroughly. I can say they were totally exceeded! The thing that stands out here above all else is the exceptional service. The staff gave us such a warm welcome and looked after us from start to finish. There were so many special touches to their service, such as coming out to the main street to meet you on arrival (hotel is on a side street), calling the lift for you if they see you approaching, offering to get medication for you if you're feeling ill, organising transport without any commission and making sure the taxi driver is well instructed etc, always smiling and saying hello when you pass through reception....I could go on and on. The hotel is beautiful. Well designed, contemporary rooms with lovely bathrooms, all finished and maintained to a high standard. The standard rooms are 'compact' not always much space around the bed, but they are very comfortable nonetheless. Well designed so plenty of space for belongings. The breakfast is lovely and the breakfast room very pleasant. Pancakes and eggs to order just how you like them, as much as you like it seems! Location is right where you want to be and the side street it's on is really interesting. This is without a doubt the best hotel in Hanoi. We also visited the Hanoi Elegance Diamond (part of the group) for dinner at the restaurant there. It was really nice, with views over the city and the same approach to excellent service.
