Terrific location and hotel. I am recommending this hotel to anyone traveling to Saigon. It is a fabulous location and the rooms are first class.

We spent 3 nights here and 2 nights at the Park Hyatt. Both were excellent.
We opted for this one whilst we were out touring to Meekong and around the city as it was cheaper. That was a wise move because we didn't spend a lot of time in it.
All staff were friendly and helpful.
The stand out thing about this hotel was the great value buffet breakfast, which I booked as part of the room package. This was one of those absolutely outstanding buffets that everything you could possibly want - fresh and plentiful. For a few extra dollars, I advise you to book it in, the coffee is excellent too and included in the price. As good as Italy!
Arrived mid morning and we upgraded to club room, so delighted with our choice. The club lounge is fantastic for breakfast, coffees drinks, canapés etc during the day, especially when returning from trips out, also the evening drinks and canapés are delicious. Air condition and lovely food. The staff are excellent and so welcoming and interested in your day of sight seeing. By lunchtime the concierge had booked, a city tour for that afternoon, a trip to the Chukchi tunnels the next and the following day a trip to the Mekong delta by speed boat. All excellent. The hotel is nearby to all the attractions, and also Banting market which is worth the experience. Barter hard. I would highly recommend this hotel and would not hesitate to return. A wonderful city and the people are delightful. We have had 3 weeks in Vietnam and loved it all.
Arrived from Shanghai quite late but were checked in by very friendly welcoming staff. We were show to our room which was spotless and had very large comfortable beds. We chose to use room service which was soon with us at a reasonable price. Breakfast was included and was excellent, lots of choice and very well presented. The hotel is centrally based and perfect for sightseeing. The evening buffet was great value especially if you pay a small supplement for all drinks included. We stayed for 3 days and would not hesitate to return there.
Great choice for Xmas. We were right in the thick of celebrations by the locals and it was great fun.
Pros: 1. Great location - walking distance to the Notre Dame, General Post Office, Reunification Palace, War Remnants Museum and the other great sites of Ho Chi Minh City
2. Great food - the breakfast buffet had the best pho I have ever tried. A pity they didn't have more Vietnamese dishes. It would have been great to have some Banh Xeo
Cons: (a) Concierge could improve their local knowledge. My wife got sick and needed a doctor but they couldn't suggest a useful one.
