Beautiful Saigon 3 is a fairly small hotel, and can be a little difficult to find, being that it's situated down a small alleyway in the Bui Nien area, but don't be put off, it's in a great area for bars and restaurants and the main tourist attractions. It's probably a good idea to get the hotel to pick you up from the airport as arriving in the manic traffic that is Saigon for the first time can be quite an experience!
The room itself was very clean, the air conditioning was perfect as per temperature control and lack of noise. Bathroom and shower were perfect and better than most western equivalents. My only gripe would have been the lack of a view from the window, or rather the view of a brick wall, but we were well aware this was the case beforehand, and being the Bui Vien district is such a lively area, a great view wasn't really a consideration. And don't worry about noise from bars etc, the double glazing meant that it wasn't an issue.
The breakfast was very good with plenty of western and Viet options, served in a lovely cool downstairs area with great service.
All said, what really makes this place stand out are the staff. They really couldn't do enough for us. Always smart, smiling and polite. We had a problem with a coach firm picking us up for our onward journey to Phnom Penh and they ran round as quick as possible for us and sorted it. Next time I'm in Saigon, I wouldn't hesitate to book there again...
