We had arranged an airport pick up with the hotel which was very efficient. Our room was lovely with a balcony overlooking the river. Yes, it was noisy but then the whole of Vietnam is noisy due to the motorbikes so just take earplugs. The bed was very comfortable. The hotel is very well situated to get around the city. We only had buffet breakfasts on the roof terrace but that was good with plenty of choice. The staff are very helpful and kind and nothing was too much trouble. They were happy to assist with giving maps of the city and pointing out how to get around or how long it might take to walk somewhere.

opposite the river and a close walk to markets, shops etc. A bit further bit quite walkable to the war museum and botanic gardens.

Restaraunt - only had breakfast here but great spot on roof terrace with great views across the city and river
Rooms - clean and comfortable (and big) with massive bathroom and bath.
Service - my wife had her bag stolen when crossing the road by a motorcyclist and the hotel were a great assistance coming to the police station to submit a report.
If you want somewhere central to stay this is the spot.

Central but as other reviewers have said it can be noisy but our room wasn't too bad as it didn't face the noisiest road (the river facing). Breakfast is excellent although after a couple of days of putting up with weak tea from the main station we asked for tea in a pot and they obliged. We didn't eat in the evenings in the restaurant as we wanted to try and find something a bit more 'authentic' and cheaper. Rooms were well serviced and clean with good quality linen. All round a good experience - we booked through booking.com who seemed to have the best rates.

The hotel is nice with a colonial touch and a very good location in the center of Saigon, but due to this location and the high number of guest groups is very noisy, also because the restaurant and bars play music in the night.
Restaurants inside the hotel are expensive, but near the hotel are many good places and it is very is to try them walking only few minutes
