It is a nice hotel in very great location. It is located in center of Ho Chi Minh city and especially in the middle of the backpacker area. Everything is nearby, just a few minute to Ben Thanh market. The hotel is nice with spacious and clean rooms. The staffs are friendly and courteous. It is worth the money.

Stayed at An An 1 Hotel for 3nights in January. Reception staff very welcoming, friendly & helpful. Got a taxi from airport buying a taxi voucher from vina sun for 150000 dong...used the ATMs outside of the airport entrance and then went back inside to purchase voucher. Room was spacious, clean, had a safety deposit safe in room and access was by swipecard Found the location excellent and whilst breakfast wasnt included cafe just next door to hotel was cheap. Went and had a great hairwash at a salon in a street near hotel(cant remember its name) but turn first left and it is not far on the right hand side.. it was amazing $6 and it included face, arm and head massage for about an hour. In that same lane there is also a commonwealth ATM that didnt charge any fees for withdrawal. Caught metered vina sun or minh lah taxis without any problems.

Stayed at the An An for 5 nights. Very friendly and helpful reception staff. Room was large with a view to the street. The bathroom was nice and clean. Hot water was delivered for coffee whenever requested. There was a lift which is not always the case in cheaper hotels here. Breakfast was included at a cafe attached to the hotel. The location is great for the main market, the Reunification Palace, the Old Post Office, the War Remnants Museum and other tourist sites. I paid $30 per night and it was great value.
