“Excellent Hotel, Friendly Staff...”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 14 February 2012

We stayed in Feb 2012, the staff here are wonderful, very friendly, the rooms are large we had an upgrade to a Junior Suite, which was excellent. Yes they have old style TVs, bit weird for a Intercon, but on holidays don't really want to stay in and watch them too much. Great Pool area.
Bed is comfy, big bath, bigger shower, nothing to complain about in the rooms.
We did have breakfast in our room once, it was not good at all, but the management fixed it straight away by way of a credit. We did have room service on another ocassion and it was very good.
Location is a far way from the riverside part of town, use the shuttle provided by the hotel it is free and easy to do, or walk out the front hire a tuk tuk for a small price.
Overall a very nice place to stay if its in your price range. Thanks to the staff there for looking after us.

“To be recommended”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 11 February 2012 via mobile

It was my first stay and I would strongly recommend this hotel. Albeit a little bit old, the overall standard is good. standard room is quite acceptable, bathroom large enough, internet working well. Breakfast is of good standard ( please have margarine or light butter for health concerned people please!). Staff is helpful.Price is competitive.

“Everything Superspeedy! We loved our stay at the Intercontinental Phnom Penh a lot”

We stayed two nights in this hotel and we loved it. The pick-up at the airport and the check-in procedure was incredibly speedy - probably the fastest time for us ever from touching down in a new country until we could ly on our hotel bed (of course it helped that there were no lines at the passport control (we had an e-visa) and the luggage arrived at once). The food at the hotel Chinese restaurant was fantastic (we ate twice there). The hotel staff was super helpful and arranged on short notice an excellent tour guide, later also a tuk tuk and the bus ticket to Siem Reap. The room was very good and we had a nice view over town. We enjoyed Phnom Penh very much also thanks to this hotel and its staff. Thanks!

“Nice hotel - food could be better”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 31 January 2012

Hard bed. Good breakfast. Average bar snacks. Bar was closed at 11.30pm but they opened and served us after returning from a meal out. Pool was very nice and relaxing. Location quiet.

Room Tip: Try and get a better bed!!

“Very friendly, professional staff--solid business hotel.”

Third stay here in as many years. Excellent staff attention to detail, very friendly and helpful. Rooms are on the small side but well maintained. Iron & board, etc. already in closet no need to call. Beds are balanced, feather pillows and duvets. TV is way behind the times, 19" tube models, no LCDs. Desk and Internet work well, but no WiFi in the room. Pool & gym are fine. Good breakfast buffet as well. Will definitely stay again.
