Internet service is now available free of charge in lobby and bar area and sometimes the signal was strong enough to get it in our room. Service at the hotel was excellent and staff was very helpful. Tuk Tuk's are available outside of the hotel and the American embassy is across the street. Hotel is in a nice area and you are able to walk down to the water. Our guide arranged for us to rent a boat(nice size) for a two hour boat ride to see the area. It was $20 an hour and enabled us to get a feel for the true size of Phnom Penh and also to see how the people along the water's edge lived. We had a glass of wine in the bar a couple of nights and ordered dinner in there. Breakfast was good along with other food we ate there.

Having stayed at a Sunway hotel in Vietnam with our tour group we had expectations that this hotel would also be good and we were not disppappointed. The room, the food and service were all very good. There is no pool so don't plan on swimming but there is so much to see in Phnom Penn who cares. The hotel encourages customers to submit reviews to Trip Advisor without any influence and I had a personal response to my feedback card a few days after leaving by email saying that the few very minor faults I found would be followed-up; excellent management.

Very efficient modern hotel. Location close to Wat Phnom, most other sights some distance away but tuk-tuks are a reliable way of getting around. Staff helpful and efficient. The hotel seems to be mainly used by tour groups, but whilst I was there they did not over dominate the place. Good spacious clean rooms. Excellent range of breakfast options and I enjoyed trying out soups where you select the ingredients which are put in the pot. In spite of large through-put of people at breakfast time, staff coped very well and a frantic atmosphere I have experienced elsewhere in these circumstances was avoided.

Only criticism was $5 charge for use of internet, especially as I found it was free in other hotels I used in Cambodia.

Everything else about this value for money good 4 star hotel makes up for the fact that there is no swimming pool. The service is probably the highlight, the staff were so friendly, spoke excellent English and made me feel so welcome and comfortable. Great location, walking distance to riverfront and great restaurants. Easy to get tuk tuk ( local taxi) from the front. Breakfast was also a highlight.
