I worked in Phnom Penh for one week and was based in this hotel with my 9-month old baby. Staff responded to my email queries before arrival within minutes (sent very late one night) to assure me they could accommodate my baby. When I arrived, there was a cot with mosquito net and toy for him waiting in our room. At every step, staff did everything they could to assure our comfort. They arranged taxi, tuk-tuks, advised on sites to visit, restaurants and markets.
Wifi works well.
Owners and staff super sweet, a real homey atmosphere with people greeting my baby by name within days. My baby was giggling wildly and happy as could be. Convenient to have restaurant in hotel. The service is really excellent. Down the street are boutique hotels that cost half as much, but I can't speak of the service. This hotel has no elevator or pool, but the staff carried our luggage, and for the pool, we paid $5 daily to use the Kabiki hotel's ($2 tuk-tuk ride away, has infant pool) during the week (weekend is for guests only).
Surroundings beautiful, food nice.
As with all areas near trees/flowers, there may be more mosquitoes than you are accustomed to, so make sure to have repellent.
We woke up a few times in the middle of the night because of loud alley cats, but I imagine that is a city-wide issue, not particular to any one location.
Overall, I highly recommend this hotel and look forward to staying there again if I do have a chance to come back, for work or vacation.
