“no frills hotel. small rooms. great location”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 20 February 2011

I spent several weeks there for a business trip. The rooms are quite small. But you are a 5 minute walk from the beautiful beach. It is on a side street so it is very quiet at night.

Rates are reasonable and the staff are helpful. It is a good deal if you don't want luxury and don't mind small rooms.

It does have parking (limited #) which is very necessary in this area if you have a car.

“Did not like it at all”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 22 January 2011

We have been in this hotel with a tour, otherwise I would not have stayed here.... Our bathroom was really dirty; I think they had worked in here some time before we came because we could find the dust from making holes for the new washbasin on the ground.... After 3 days, when we left, it was still there, anyway I have not had the feeling anyone cleaned the bathroom in the time we spent there....
A friend of ours thought of having dinner in the basement of the hotel. We had a look at the buffet and decided not to eat there. Everything looked not very inviting, especially the people working there did not seem to be very friendly and helpful and nobody was eating there...The food did not look tasty and there has not been a large variety, compared to all the other places we had been before and where we had paid less for better quality!
Afterall I would suggest to pay just a little bit more and to get some better quality for the whole stay at another hotel!

“Don't do it”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 24 August 2010

If you're traveling alone, then this hotel is just fine for you. BUT if you are with more people, it won't work. The rooms are so small. Imagine not being able to put your suitcase in your room OR sleeping with your suitcase on your bed! Trust me..don't do it. Move along.

Great location though.

“Tour-bus central”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 27 July 2010

This is where the birthright tours spend the night -- this means that every day there are tour buses loading and unloading all morning and then again in late afternoon/evening, and groups of people congregating in the lobby and outside at all times. The groups consist of young (early 20s) people who tend to be noisy. If your tour has booked this hotel you'll be fine, because you will be with your friends, but I would not recommend this for individual travelers (singles, couples, families) because it will be loud and crowded. (Note: I didn't actually stay at this hotel so I can's comment on the rooms, but I stayed in an apartment right next door for a few weeks, and I was working at home so had a chance to witness these constant comings and goings)

“Small rooms and rude staff”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 23 July 2010

We stayed here for 1 night and found the staff to be quite rude and abrupt. The rooms were quite small but reasonably comfortable. The hotel is in a reasonable location but wouldnt recommend this place for the money you are spending.
