Hotel is located in a very lively area called COEX. There are 3 malls right under and next door to the hotel, not to mention a major subway station. The hotel has a fully equipped kitchen (with even salt and pepper!), a full size fridge, a washer and drier, microwave, DVD player, entertainment center, coffee maker, toaster, dishwasher, scale, hair drier, iron machine and ironing board, and even a privat Sauna for the upscale 2 bedrooms. There is much attention to detail in this hotel and too many amenities to list here. To me the hotel is better than having an apartment if the price is not the a major issue and in fact many expat families and business people call it home.

Very large room, great for a family. The room has everything you need - our room even had a washer/dryer. We only stayed 3 nights and paid a steep price, but it was ok considering the size. They gym is good, and location is good too. Airport limo bus drops off at the City Air Terminal, and 5 minutes walk away. Lots of restaurants across the street and all around the area. Coex Mall also right beside. Great aquarium for the kids. Subway close by as well.
My only complaint was the breakfast. Not good at all - average quality, few choices...more like a 2 star hotel breakfast. After the first day, we didn't bother going back.

The hotel is the best place you can stay in for a long term in seoul.
I have been here for more than a year and no complane from any thing!

Oakwood provides well appointed serviced apartments south of Seoul City. The staff are flawless and provided assistance during my stay which made a difference. Once you step out onto the street, many people do not speak English and finding things is not obvious - the staff helped direct me and make any required arrangements.

The room itself was perfect - almost everything you could want was there - kitchen, laundry room, large TV, etc. The only thing that surprised me was that the hotel does not provide wireless access to the internet within rooms - only a cable based connection charged at 20k Won per day (About £12). In fact, I was able to connect to public wifi from within the rooom and just used this during my stay (iptime).

Would recommend a visit to local temple - Bongeunsa - just on the next block.
