honestly, we were a bit nervous when we booked the hotel through Hotels.com, and as I read some of its reviews, it made me breath a little easier, the first walk we had to do to get the hotel, was expected since they said that the hotel was a few meters from the bus stop. And unexpectedly, there was a bus stop direct for Hotel PJ.
The Hotel facade was great and the doorman was most welcoming! Their entrance has a conveyor to get your heavy luggage up their stairs. And even when we were checking in all of the staff knew english and all was willing to help.
When we got to the room it was even better, it was nice clean and modern. The Bathroom had a tub and the room that we got even had a veranda/terrace for all guests who are smokers, or if you simply want to hang out. The "modern-esque" feel of the room and the comfort-ability was superb. And to top it all of, once you get down from your room and start to go down from the elevator to the front door, you will receive a barrage of hospitality from the Hotel staff who are all itching to help you if you need it.
I would even have to recommend the doorman, wearing that brown winter jacket, who never fails to ask and say: Good morning! Where are you going today? (ready to assist you on the roads or modes of transportation you need to take to get to that Korean place you'd want to visit.
This may be the best tourist hotel in Seoul! 5 out 5 stars for me!
And of course that additional plus for their free shuttle bus to take you to places like: Myeongdong Market, Namdaemun Market, Dongdaemun Market, Etc.
