I stayed for 8 days in Seoul for vacation with my sister. My choice for Ibis myeong-dong was based on everyone's review here!& I was glad that I made the right choice! really easy to get there by bus shuttle from airport. I went in the freezing winter temperature drops to -14C but there's good heaters so felt really warm in the rooms! And at check out you can place your bags down in the luggage room till you go to he airport!
Location is amazing just like everyone said!. For shopaholics like myself everything is near you mostly cosmetics but what ever you want it's near! Food also was great variety around: traditional Korean, Macdonalds burger king pizza hut Japanese and for all the Muslims there is a halal restaurant just below the hotel called safron! It is a Turkish restaurant. There were facilities I didn't use! Only the free wifi was really fast & good!
Nanta theater is just behind it which is a must show to attend( they can book you a seat from the hotel & you get 5% discount)! Totally recommend this hotel! And i do plan on staying there again.

Stayed with family in a junior suite in Aug 2011.
Great value for money. Has washing machine, water dispenser, ice dispenser, drinks dispenser on every floor. Very helpful and courteous staff. Friendly too. Made tour bookings for us and got 5% off what we would have paid, if we had booked by ourselves. Food in the hotel was good and affordable too .

Well located, near the shopping district and just by the bus stop. The airport limo stops right in front of the hotel. It is one street from the NANTA theatre, which I highly recommend, by the way.
All in all, an affordable place in central Seoul with the best possible location.Will stay again.
