Had a short stay at the Nile Valley for 2 nights on 13th and 14th April 2012 as our final destination in a group tour. Was immediately delighted with the quiet location right by the Nile and the lovely swimming pool and bar area. Food was good and served quickly and with enthusiasm. Rooms small but functional with perhaps an upgrade to bathrooms to be considered in the not too distant future. Spotlessly clean though. Public areas including the corridors were lovely. The rooftop restaurant was a wonderful addition and we were lucky enough to have our guide arrange for some nubian musical entertainment on our last night. We were served with barbecued fish, chicken and koftas with all the trimmings and had a great evening.
I really wish I had been able to stay longer and Im not the only one in my group to say that. For a perfectly positioned spot in Luxor to chill out for a while or take in all that the area has to offer I would recommend.
