My friend booked this hotel so I had only read a few reviews. I wasn't expecting much, but was VERY pleased!

The location is great for those that are after great food (the top few trip advisor restaurants within walking distance). 'Bar street' is a short (and cheap) cab ride away.

During the stay my friend needed a sowing kit. After calling reception to ask, a hotel worker came up to our room and grabbed the jumper. 10 mins later it was returned and was fixed perfectly!

The rooms are very clean and a good size.

The staff are very friendly and were always happy (and honest) to give us restaurant recomendations.

The hotel was a pleasant surprise for us, since we have nowhere to stay in the vicinity. The first impression couldn't be better: an eyepopping abundance in the breakfast (highly reccomended) and very corteous treatment by ALL the staff.
We were offered an room upgrade for a slightly higher rate, which included a spacious room, very nice and clean bathroom, comfortable beds and pillows, and what striked us most was the 'happy hour' in which it was served some nice hot snacks, beverages and even alcoholic drinks, all you can eat and drink at the end of the evening. How nice can that be?
My tip is to try to include in your stay this 'happy hour' (excellent for young couples and solo without children), besides the breakfast feast offered in the morning which seems to be usual in top hotels in Beijing (and unequal elsewhere in the world where I've been).
My only remark is about the cigarette smell you can sense sometimes from the corridor, even in non-smoking levels of the building.

Ideally located in central Beijing. Very comfortable and clean room. Friendly, helpful staff. The bar area was a great place to relax and have a glass of wine. Free nuts accompanied the wine. A nice treat. THe massage was oh so-o-o good!!!

This was a nice warm place to be in cold dreary beiging.
The entire city smells like a sewer and the hotel is no exception.
Everyone was very kind and helpful.
