We stayed here twice in February for an overnight between flights, and we found it very convenient to the airport. Facilities are new and the fitness room has excellent equipment and a superb indoor pool. Breakfast was a buffet with wide choices, but not exceptional (for example, pastries and breads seemed to be made off premises in a very mundane commercial bakery).
However, on our second stay we were very annoyed to be awakened at 3:00 a.m. by a piercing fire alarm. There had been a notice in the room that a test of standby electrical generators would occur between 1:30 a.m. and 4:00 a.m.--but nothing about a fire alarm at 3:00 a.m. So, naturally, we were concerned, tried to discover whether there was an emergency or just a false alarm, and could not get a response on the phone ("all lines are busy; your call is important; please stay on the line, etc"). After about 10 minutes of shrill noise, the alarm stopped, and we tried unsuccessfully to go back to sleep. Although a false alarm could happen to anyone, the lack of any information about the real situation was potentially dangerous. And worst of all, the clerks at the checkout counter seemed totally nonchalant about our polite complaint--they didn't seem to care.
