I rarely find that a service or product will actually exceed my expectations. In the case of Four Seasons Jakarta, they managed to exceed my expectations and they have left a lasting impression of service excellence. I stayed for four nights in December 2011 in a Club Deluxe King Room. I will highlight why the hotel exceeded my expectations and I will emphasise points that other reviews seem to miss.
Room - the bathroom was well maintained with a huge shower and separate bath.
Service excellence - many staff would greet me by name and staff in the lobby were proactive in assisting guests. The concierge provided excellent assistance with shopping and movie information.
Gym - The gym was well equipped with a wide range of free weights, pin weight machines and cardio machines. I gym room is spacious, comfortable, suitably supervised and well maintained.
Executive Club - This spacious facility provided me with enough food and drink for breakfast and a light evening meal. The complimentary pressing service was an added bonus. The wireless internet was fast and easy to connect.
Restaurants - I ate at the Seasons Cafe for breakfast and dinner. The range of food was very impressive and all was prepared to a high standard. The selection of local dishes and Japanese dishes were especially delicious.
Overall - Yes I am returning to this hotel soon, and so far it is my favourite amongst the scores of hotels that I have stayed at in my life.
Room Tip: Club deluxe rooms have a huge bathroom with separate shower and bathtub.
