I have stayed in other hotels in Boracay, Station 1, and Friday's is the best! It is rustic beauty and comfort, completing the true Boracay experience for those who like to go organic (somewhat organic, I must qualify). We stayed at a premier suite, and it was absolutely gorgeous, very spacious, with a fantastic view of the beach. Although 42 steps up, the regular exercise up and down to the beach was well worth it. Service was excellent, and the staff very cooperative and supportive, with great attention to detail. The location of the hotel itself is simply the best, and probably the most private. Special mention of Erwin, the server at the restaurant, who anticipated our every move. Arlene, the manager, was so efficient and friendly -- a good representation of Filipino hospitality at its best.

We spent 6 nights at Fridays during the Chinese New Year holiday. In spite of the price, Fridays has the advantage of the best location on the beach and does not disappoint. We had a ground level room which was less than 50 paces from the beach and even fewer to the restaurant. For a relaxing break on a beautiful beach with attentive and thoughtful service, this is the place!

Though we often walked down the beach to try other dinner locations, the Fridays restaurant offers a good selection of dishes and the bar is always busy for lunch and especially during the happy hour from 3-6pm (though Service was notably slower during busy times). Only issue was that the 'Famous' barbecue on Friday night did not live up to our expectations considering the price, but overall this was a fantastic place for a holiday and we would recommend it!

I liked the new room set up it was much brighter and loved the addition of the play area by the swimming pool it was nice addition

Friday's looks great on the website but quite disappointed in reality. The whole place is built up on sand which is quite nice actually. But the facilities are a bit worn-out and the food at the restaurants is average. The service is really lame. Not live to up whatever star it claimed at all ! Way overrated. We were asked to put down deposit when we wanted to borrow a couple of towels and take them with us to do water activities and promised to return after. We were like what the heck. We were the guests staying here for a week ! Then the manager said "oh it's because some Korean before borrowed the towels and never returned. So now we have this towel policy that the guest has to put down deposit if you want to take resort towel to the beach area." Then something even more ridiculous happened that we couldn't believe what we heard. My partner had a headache one day and we asked the front desk whether they have aspirin and could give us one or two. They said yes we have but you have to pay for it. We almost thought it was a joke but it wasn't. I nean both of us have travelled the world for so many years and stayed at all kinds of 4,5 star resorts or hotels and this is really unheardof !!! Lucky in Boracay , everywhere is white sand beach and naturally stunning. Friday's doesn't have to do a thing or work an extra mile to win the customers. But seriously, the Shangri-la, 5 minutes further down the beach is 10 times better with only 100 bucks more per night but you got the true shangri-la standard service and the best private beach on the island. So couples, if you are battlling between Friday's or Shangri-la ... Do spend that 100 bucks more and go for Shangri-la ! Trust me ! There is a huge difference for that extra 100 bucks. Coz it will be well worth the money while it is NOT at all at Friday's.
