If you are looking to relax and get away from the regular busy life, Discovery Shores is the way to go. This was probably the best resort we've stayed at from looks to service. Family friendly and the most helpful staff. And if you want to party and shop, they offer a free shuttle to station 2. It's worth every penny!

Boracay and Discovery Shores ticked every box of Paradise. The only downside is that nothing now comes close and we find ourselves wishing every hotel was like Discovery Shores. The level of service received in this hotel was outstanding and a special mention has to go to Jigs who was like our own personal butler. He was "outstanding" and made the holiday feel like a once in a lifetime dream vacation. He remembered our names, what we liked to drink, how many cushions/towels we liked. We got our sunglasses polished, ice cold face towels, ice cold fresh water, exotic fruits, chocolate lips, all this whilst sitting on huge double loungers overlooking crystal clear waters and powder white sands. This place really is heavenly and we literally cried when we left. The two bedroom suite we stayed in was awesome and we were greeted by a foot massage from the minute we arrived. From beginning to end it was first class!

Stayed at Discovery Shores for 3 days and I can't say anything negative this place. Thank you.

Without a doubt, Discovery Shores and Shangri-La Boracay are the 2 best resorts in the island. Whichever comes out on top is going to boil down to personal preference with each resort having its pros and cons.

Service is truly impeccable, rooms are minimalist but big enough. Beds were amazing. Food was good. Free shuttle service around the island. Private lounge at Caticlan airport.

My complaints: Slow Wi-Fi internet connection where you need to log-in every time you use. Windows are not sound proof; noise from the wedding reception is too loud for rooms near the beach. Small bathroom for some room types.

Suggestion for resort: Multilingual materials/brochures/menus considering the number of Chinese and Russian guests.
