This large and bustling hotel with spectacular views of the Marina Bay is something of a "business resort". Our room was fairly small but beautifully appointed with every conceivable amenity. Stunning architecture belies the attentive and personal service from every member of the staff. Arriving just before dawn after an 18 hour flight from the US we made straight for the pool on the 5th floor rooftop from where we watched the sky turn from night to day. Hot ginger tea awaited our return to the room. The restaurant Melt is particularly impressive, although there are five eateries within the hotel. Inspite of the hotel being very busy, the hosts and staff at Melt knew us by name by day two. This is as close to perfection as possible in a hotel of this size. Looking forward to a return visit!

My wife, 4 year old son and me had the privilege to attend our Asian Meeting in December 2011. After a luxurious ride on Thai Airways to Singapore we checked in to our room at the 17 Floor. We were greeted by super friendly staff who escorted us up to our room which was on the Club Level. Service and Rooms were perfect and my son really enjoyed the swimming pool and outdoor area. I had the chance to spin a few rounds every morning at their very nice fitness center which opens already at 0700 am. During my days of meetings and working I enjoyed the private breakfast in their Club Lounge. Service up there was extremely attentive and staff went the extra mile to please everyone of their guests. After 6pm there are free drinks (lots of different beers and wines are available) and great small snacks available. The Club lounge is also a great place to hold meetings since there 2 private meeting rooms available. Over the weekend we enjoyed our breakfast in the restaurant at the 4th Floor and let me tell you, this is something else. Their presentation is amazing and they have so many things to offer including a fruit juice bar. My son was so happy there and one of the reason is of course, that the staff at the Singapore Mandarin Oriental are very kid friendly. Folks, this place is a great experience and if you ever have the chance to stay there, then do it because for us it was an amazing 4 days with so many benefits. We felt so very welcome and happy there. Will be back here for sure as well.

The hotel service and cleanliness was superb, the staff seemed to know what i wanted before I did. We felt very welcome, the rooms had everything we could need.

We treated ourselves to a lovely night here in a harbour view club room- for the view alone, it was totally worth it. The room itself was lovely, and wifi was included in the club benefits. We found all staff, particularly those in the Club Lounge, to be efficient, pleasant and very welcoming. For a short first time stop in Singapore, the location was ideal to explore the Marina Bay area. The selling point for us was the club benefits included late-check out- as we had an evening flight out of Singapore, this enabled us to explore during the day and use the room before we had to leave. Just wonderful- we certainly hope to come back
