Went to visit the reserve on a rainy day, but well covered we had a nice long walk and could switch off from the hectic city life!
Make sure to take insect repellant with you, a lot of mosquitos around that area!

Enjoyed the day out at the reserve - is a 360 experience of sights and sounds as you are surrounded by the rich and diverse flora and fauna of the tropical wetlands. Caught a couple of rarely seen birds and it was awesome! With insect repellant and long pants/ light colored clothing, mozzies was never an issue. However, giant monitor lizards walking alongside the path/walkway was quite an experience (scary one as well)! But they are actually quite tame.

If you do not have time to cover the whole route, go for Route 3. IMO, it is the easiest and best route to take!

In this concrete jungle,you tend to appreciate every bit of greens. Especially when most Singaporeans aren't that adventurous to venture into the amazon,this is the closest we could get to it and away from the painful office politics.

Not quite accessible by public transport but worth the effort to get close to nature.
