The Hampton Inn staff was courteous and the breakfast was good. The rooms were clean and comfortable. However, I stayed at another Hampton Inn in NYS, which I thought had better amenities than this one, such as a fridge and microwave.

I have a few complaints - the room that I requested was not given to me at check-in. It took at least 15 mins. to get the correct room, after convincing the front desk clerk that in fact I had been guaranteed a king size bed and not two double beds. She didn't believe me at first, so I had to show her my confirmation email, specifying the room type. She was the only one on staff at the time, so I had to wait until she checked in another guest.

The walls are not very soundproof -- you could easily hear the noise outside, even though I was on the third floor and sounds coming from adjoining rooms. Also, the heating system was very loud.

Overall, for the price and the short stay it was satisfactory, but it wasn't an exceptional stay.

Room tip: choose upper floors if you want to avoid too much noise coming from outside

The hotel has a friendly staff and is in a decent location. However, the rooms are dated and in need of an upgrade. Taking a shower in the bathtub should be reserved for low budget hotels; not typical of a Hilton brand.

Great place to stay. The staff was wonderful all day long. Breakfast was amazing, different every day. Rooms were clean and nice. Rates were good, but high if you need to stay for an extended period of time.

i don't have enough experience to gauge some of the questions posed in this survey but i was pleased with all aspects of my stay at the Hampton. The room was very pleasant, the staff was quick to help with every query.

Good location. Close to Campus / downtown. Clean. Friendly staff / good service. The building is a little older, but amenities in the rooms and lobby have been updated throughout. Parking is a bit limited in areas close to front door, but there is plenty off to the sides (Applebee's lot) or in back (w/ a back door entrance available).
