“An absolute pleasure.”

Our room was phenomenal. For an extra couple of dollars per night we had a giant room with a very nice sitting area. Staff was amazing, from the welcome drinks at reception to trying to answer any questions we had during our stay. The restaurant staff was particularly good - service was consistently good. We did not have any complaints whatsoever - in over a month of travel, this was easily the best hotel experience we had along the way.

Room Tip: Booking one step up from their standard room makes a world of difference.

“Great Location, Great Job!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 20 February 2012

We were upgraded to Suite room on our first night which is very great. Thank you!

Location: Very nearby to Pub Street where you get foods and drinks ($0.50/ glass of drought beer). Just 15minutes walk max ... or take a tuk tuk at $1/trip.

Tuk Tuk drivers: You can hire hotel tuk tuk(some of them spoke very good english), there is a standard price list, dont worry of overcharging as you can always check with hotel staff for the price. The price is pretty standard. If you want to hire a tuk tuk driver who can speak decent English, let me know. I can recommend you as I hired one outside from hotel for 2 days.

Breakfast: This is something that the hotel should look into seriously. Choice of foods are very basic and not up to standard. As there are limited of staff working in the restaurant area, it took at least more than 15 minutes to get your food delivered to your table. I heard many guests are unhappy about the quality of foods as well ... but you know, we were just paying $22/night for standard room, so we are fine with it. But those people who paying over $35/night, i dont think they will happy with the quality of foods/services. I would suggest to have self service type of breakfast instead of taking order from the menu.

“Nice good value basic hotel”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 20 February 2012

The room has basic amenities and the breakfast is sufficient. Hotel has good and helpful staff at the front desk, and good and helpful car and tuk-tuk drivers. There are many good restaurants around the Pub Street; walking distance from hotel to Pub Street area is not very near but the walk is quite enjoyable as there are many various shops along the way. If you are not keen to walk, the tuk-tuk would cost you $2 to get there.

If you are looking for a good proper massage, The Lemongrass around Pub Street is very good. Their service is professional and clean. The best vegetarian restaurant we’ve ever been: Chamkar Restaurant, around Pub Street.

“Service is fantastic at this hotel!”

This hotel lives up to all the great reviews on it's service. The staff really go out of their way to be helpful. The rooms are quite nicely done and immaculate. It is located in a quiet residential area not at all far from the center of town.
There is no elevator as mentioned and no nighttime street lights.
Really good value at 34$/night.

“Great Budget Hotel”

This hotel will blow you away. For what you pay, you get exceptional service, a great room, and a gift (a scarf) when you leave. The breakfast was good as well. The wifi worked well. I actually have no complaints at all about this hotel. I can't believe they don't charge more for what they're giving you.
