I loved this hotel. From the antique elevator, to the superb staff (some of the most helpful and friendly you'll ever encounter). Food was outstanding, our room was amazing. The swimming pool and pool service - five stars!!

While it's pretty compact and modest in many ways, your hotel is definitely one of our absolute favourites anywhere in the world, probably one of our top three...comparison set being incredible Relais and Chateaux, slh's, Oberoi and Taj resorts in India.

We both felt it was such an amazing level of service, all the staff were so genuinely lovely, and kind. The pool area was so elegant, simple and beautiful and overall we just loved the whole thing. The food was all very lovely - and we didn't even try the fine dining. The man at the spa that was offering the free stretching sessions was incredible, and more knowledgable and informative to us about our bodies than any masseuse that we have ever had anywhere and his subsequent massage was the best we have ever had.

If we lived in Asia we'd probably use Raffles Siem Reap as a weekend getaway.

Fantastic Apsara Dinner. The buffet options were varied, very well presented, and delicious!

We thought the Raffles Hotel, with its beautiful old lift and colonial charm beats most 5 star hotels. The room in a separate wing (walkway under cover) was very adequate and roomy with a separate desk area, adequate bathroom and separate dressing room. The dining room breakfasts and lunch were delicious, and we had a very pleasant dinner in another formal dining room. If you prefer historic hotels rather than modern, this is the hotel for you.
