30 min from airport (70 rmb), next street has good local clothes & electronic shopping at good prices. Hotel was clean and the manager can organize western breakfast. Was very happy with the price and room.

I travelled to Shenzhen for work and stayed at Maple Leaf City Hotel. The room is very pleasant and clean amid the dark corridor when walking from the lift to the room, which could have give one a shaded impression of the hotel's standard. However, the room is very cosy and spacious. The toilet is pleasantly big too! The room will be constantly tidied day and night, unless you put the 'Please do not disturb' sign outside the room door. Free internet access is provided and you can just plug in the LAN cable to your laptop. Apart from location which is a bit far from the city centre, Maple Leaf City will be a comfortable place for business people to relax in at the end of a hard's work, and not forgetting definitely a place to recommend also for travel.

I stayed at the Maple Leaf City Hotel for a week and loved it - the staff was great, the breakfast buffet has something for everyone, the room is comfortable (bed was actually sleep-able -- most are too hard) and the marble bathroom and great bath products were a nice bonus.

The location was a bit far from where I was working but was a great location - very scenic and nice.

The staff's English was better than most, and they were very accommodating. (I still recommend a handheld translation device - speeds things up in so many ways)...

I have stayed at five hotels in Shenzhen, and by far the Maple Leaf city hotel is my favorite.
