I had gone to China and this was sort of OK hotel. I liked that hotel staff can speak English and this was a big surprise. Breakfast was also nice. Hotel location is also nice since this is in heart of the new city so lot of malls and eating joints. Overall good experience.

The check in was a bit of a work out but that was because the nice young lady was pretty new in her job, given time she managed well although the two passports for two different rooms and a reservation under another name etc seemed to confuse our host more than this should be the case with sufficient training before one let's the staff have a go on a guest alone.

The rooms in this CP are again very spacious, the furniture not everyones taste - a bit old style and as it seems of cheap finish. I actually also realized in this different setting how annoying the many tentcards and similar informations the room of a CP is are. Cool was the rain shower that you could almost drown in, incredible water pressure, fun.

The breakfast buffet was not as lavish as the one yesterday (CP Guangzhou) but the buffet was way more hygienic with some nice treats like Egg Benedikt. The service was way nicer as well and served coffee without one demanding it etc.

The room service team showed great flexibility delivering a nice Pizza Quattro Formaggi that wasn't even on the menu. Thank you!

No wireless in the rooms and a quite weak one in the other hotel areas makes this a no go for travelers like me that tend to write their review direct from on the road...

The location of the CP def is a plus, right in the heart of the city where our business meetings could easily access us.

Short & sweet- staff was great. Hotel was clean and fairly priced.

Managment went out of there way to accommodate my special requirements and needs for my business meetings.

This 6 star hotel has large renovated rooms with a sofa, bar, closet and even a pant press similar to some high class London hotels. The cherry wood furnishing is traditional Chinese. The desk is large equipped with fax machines, stationary supplies, and internet access cables. Internet was free. The beds are comfortable and the air conditioning adequate.

The washroom has a separate soaker tub and shower. Bath salts, wash pad are provided for the soaker tub. A nice touch. The shower stall has a pull down seat (great touch for the physically challenged) and both a hand held shower and a rain drop shower.

Recess lighting adds to the comfort of the room. A DVD player is hooked up to a large LCD TV. A hot water kettle with a selection of tea and coffee is available. A french press is available for the ground coffee. The bar has an assortment of liquors in larger sizes than most hotels.

The front desk (really a desk) allows guests to sit down when checking-in. The staff is friendly and professional.

The hotel is just 2 blocks away from the subway and a large mall. It is also close to many restaurants. The old shopping district is nearby with many electronic and clothing items at ridiculous prices. If you go there shopping, be aware of pickpockets.

Overall this is a great hotel with many amenities and a professional staff close to transportation, malls, and restaurants.
