Good points:
- Subway line to airport or HK border is 50 meters from the hotel - OCT station take exit A
- Price is reasonable, rooms are a bit dated but ok, everything works fine
- Location is great for shopping and eating - Walmart 10 min walk and many restaurants and small shops around, bigger malls just a few stops on the subway
- Service is pretty good too

Bad points:
- Gym is really small
- Breakfast food is good but super crowded and hard to get a seat
- No swimming pool
- Rooms facing to the bay side often have insufficient air-con making the room too hot

Reality
- For the price, location and convenience you can't beat it but it doesn't stand up to the Westin or even the Crown Plaza, especially if a good gym/pool matter to you.

Really enjoying spending time in this hotel. The interior is a mixture of old oriental world with new. The room was very modern and clean. The food was good and there is a metro right outside the hotel. There is a huge shopping centre about 15 minutes walk. Would definatley recommend

I already stayed in this hotel in two different trips to China. The hotel is very nice, the installations are great, it's clean and organized. Very well located, and the food is just great, there's this Indian cook who prepares very good and sorted food. He's been prized in Shenzhen as a good cook.
I'm sure you'll like it. Also, it's right in front of Window of the World, a nice tourism park in SZ.

I stayed here for 5 nights. Although we checked in as a couple, the receptionist gave us a twin room, the issue was sorted out very quickly by the hotel staff. The second room we got was OK for us in terms of space. The main problem we had with the room was that it was very damp. The walls of the hotel are also very thin, we could hear very clearly conversations coming from the room next door and various other 'sounds'.I would not recommend this hotel for honeymooners. Overall, our stay at this hotel was not too bad, but what really put me off this hotel was the reception staff when we were checking out. We stood there for about 20 min before they checkout us out and in the meantime, they were serving the chinese speaking customers first. I'm not saying that there's some sort of discrimination, there might have been a language problem or they might have found it easier to deal with chinese speaking customers first? Who knows? It was a busy time as well; quite a number of customers to serve. We did tell the staff several times though that our car was waiting for us outside, so please check us out, we are waiting..etc. The hotel claims to be a tourist hotel, but I would not say that it was very foreigner friendly, because of the language barrier more than anything else.

I almost forgot to mention this, one the first night, we found a flying cockroach on one of the bedroom walls, we had to call the hotel staff to get rid off it for us because it was high up near the ceiling and we could not reach it. They were very quick to sort this out though.
