Hotel is located within the shopping belt but about a 20 minute brisk walk to the Gongbei underground.

For a 4* hotel, the room is a bit small and more like a 3* hotel. Since there are 2 towers, perhaps, our group of >100 were housed in the older tower. Reception staff is pleasant with only the manager able to communicate in English.

A good hotel for a short-term stay.

I am impressed by the good service rendered by the staff at Guangdong Regency Hotel during my short day . The efficient counter service was a pleasant experience ! The hotel is well located near the various places of interest - Gongbei underground shopping complex , the famous Lotus Road ( also known as Walking Street ) , New Yuanming Palace , Fisher Girl Statue and it's not far from the Gongbei border to Macau .
However , the quality and spread of the morning buffet breakfast could be further improved . Otherwise , a good hotel that gives value for money !

Stayed at this hotel for 2 nights. Location was good. Situated at the main road that leads to the gong bei shopping area which is about 15 to 20 mins walk away. This hotel has all the facilities you need. They provide 2 bottles of drinking water daily. Service was prompt. I had problems with the safe and it was changed. Just note that you have to pull the door all the way and make sure it is closed properly. Take care of your belongings as there was an incident where a man turned away briefly from his belongings and it was gone. Perhaps it was done by the locals. If you are staying at the 7th floor you may hear disco music at night. Overall it was a good stay

I stayed here last week & can echo most of what the other reviewers have written about this hotel.

The feature I liked most about this hotel is the revolving restaurant on the 29th floor - it gives a good view of the city. The restaurant doesn't revolve in the morning during breakfast. I went up again for dinner & sat through one round. It's not the smoothest ride (you can feel it jerk slightly).

The hotel is probably still undergoing renovations. The revolving restaurant's carpet is worn out & overall needs a facelift. The room I was in has seen better days & will probably be renovated soon.
