I like this hotel and have stayed there many times. It is well-known and has one of the best central locations in Zhuhai. As it is the oldest 5 star hotel in Zhuhai the rooms are not as modern as some, but they are not dowdy or depressing and I am very happy in them. Some would say it’s not 5 star any longer, I think it has a lived in feeling. If there are any deficiencies the house-keeping, reception and restaurant staff make up for them. They are really nice and friendly. I enjoy the wide variety of good Chinese food in the Cuisine Palace and the Shanghai restaurant. The inclusive room internet access can become so overloaded in the evening that it grinds to a halt. It has a swimming pool open in the summer, and I can just about get my fingers into the holes of some balls at the bowling alley. I will return.
